Our process - A Proven Process for a Leak-Free Roof

From the first inspection to the final walk-through, our team follows a repeatable playbook that keeps projects on schedule and roofs watertight for years to come.

Steps: Inspection → Proposal → Installation → Final Walk-Through & Warranty

Discover

Every project starts with a full-roof inspection conducted by a project manager and lead installer. We document deck conditions, flashing, ventilation, and interior water spots so nothing is missed once work begins.

Within a few days you receive a line-item proposal detailing recommended materials, code upgrades, and repair options for anything uncovered during the inspection.

We walk the roof with you, confirm priorities, and adjust the plan until scope, budget, and schedule align with your project goals.

Included in this phase

  • Roof inspection
  • Moisture & leak detection
  • Drone/photographic survey
  • Detailed proposal
  • Budget & timeline review
  • Product samples

Build

Once the proposal is approved, we move straight into installation. Crews protect landscaping, remove existing roofing, and stage materials so the site stays clean at the end of every shift.

Your superintendent sends daily progress photos and confirms any on-the-fly decisions—deck repairs, ventilation upgrades, or gutter replacements—before we proceed.

We follow manufacturer specs to the letter so every shingle, membrane, and piece of flashing qualifies for the extended warranties Skyline Roofing & Construction is known for.

Skyline’s crews handled our Wonder Years School installation with precision—clean site, proactive updates, and zero leaks after the first rain.

Deliver

When the last fastener goes in, we walk the roof with you to review every ridge, flashing transition, and penetration before we call it complete.

You receive a close-out packet containing inspection photos, warranties, product registrations, and maintenance tips tailored to your roof system.

Our service department checks in after the first major storm and remains on-call for the life of the warranty.

Included in this phase

  • Final walk-through. Joint inspection to confirm punch-list completion, attic ventilation, and cleanup meet Skyline standards.
  • Warranty packet. Manufacturer registrations, workmanship warranty, and care instructions delivered digitally and in print.
  • Ongoing support. A direct line to our service team for warranty calls, emergency leak response, or seasonal maintenance.

Our values - Balancing reliability and innovation

We strive to stay at the forefront of emerging trends and technologies, while completely ignoring them and forking that old Rails project we feel comfortable using. We stand by our core values to justify that decision.

  • Meticulous. The first part of any partnership is getting our designer to put your logo in our template. The second step is getting them to do the colors.
  • Efficient. We pride ourselves on never missing a deadline which is easy because most of the work was done years ago.
  • Adaptable. Every business has unique needs and our greatest challenge is shoe-horning those needs into something we already built.
  • Honest. We are transparent about all of our processes, banking on the simple fact our clients never actually read anything.
  • Loyal. We foster long-term relationships with our clients that go beyond just delivering a product, allowing us to invoice them for decades.
  • Innovative. The technological landscape is always evolving and so are we. We are constantly on the lookout for new open source projects to clone.
